Yung Berg, the 21-year-old Chi town native, is the definition of what happens when skills and swagger combine. Previously signed to DMX's Bloodline Records, Yung Berg got his first taste of the music business at 15. Unfortunately Yung Berg's bite of success left a bad taste in his parent's mouths, which lead to a mandatory relocation to military school in 2001. This blessing in disguise forced the budding lyricist to develop and hone a style, free of the popular hip hop of the time. For his return to stardom in 2003 Yung Berg chose a different road. Berg refocused his energy into learning the in’s and out’s of the music business. In 2005 he became a hype man for Disturbing The Peace's Shawnna. The entrepreneur in Berg was cultivated during this time. Berg launched his own entertainment venture - the Yung Boss imprint - currently comprised of a roster of equally talented producers and emcees. Currently Berg is signed to Epic Records preparing to release his debut, "Look What You Made Me." The record is Berg's story in his own words. Having written for hip hop's elite, and dropped verses on mixtapes, Berg is guaranteed to bring that same spark and energy to his own project.
