Tony Plana, a veteran actor of the stage, television and film, currently stars as Ignacio Suarez, the widowed father to America Ferrera's Ugly Betty, in ABC's landmark, hit series. He previously starred in Showtime's, Resurrection Boulevard. As an actor, Plana has starred in more than 70 feature films with more on the horizon. His soon-to-be-released feature film projects include El Muerto starring Wilbur Valderama, Justified, Towards Darkness, and American East. He recently starred in the Showtime Original Miniseries, Fidel, as the notorious Cuban dictator, Batista, as well as Showtime's Noriega: God's Favorite. Plana has directed and produced various films and theatre productions.
