This fall Eddie Matos will co-star opposite Hector Elizondo, Jimmy Smits and Rita Moreno in CBS' highly anticipated familial drama "Cane." Matos plays the youngest son, a Miami nightclub impresario who avoids working in the family’s lucrative spirits business. Mato's has television credits include the pilots CBS's "Women in Law" and the UPN's "Beck & Call" and guest roles on the shows "Charmed," "Pepper Dennis," "Clueless," and "In Justice." Most recently, he appeared in a popular recurring role as the confident, young professor Peter Marquez on ABC's daytime drama "General Hospital." Matos made his small screen debut at age 21 in a Gatorade commercial. After performing in local Miami theatre the young actor moved to Hollywood. It quickly paid off with a role on the daytime drama "Port Charles." Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Matos grew up in Miami, Chile and New Jersey. Though he attended the University of Miami to become a doctor, he realized while playing on the school’s baseball team he loved performing and soon began studying acting. Matos' is a self-taught drummer and also performs in the three-person band "23 Link Chain."
