What's on McCain’s & Obama’s Playlists?

SiTV.com thumbs through the presidential candidates' iPods and finds music by Jay-Z to Carlos Santana.

While pretentious tomes like The New Yorker are busy portraying The Obamas as extremist revolutionaries on their cover (nice try at making a statement but most Americans are stuck on a 10th grade reading level) Rolling Stone delivered the most important Election ‘08 news to date. They got the scoop on Barack Obama's favorite tunes. We know, we know, it's a minuscule detail compared to his stances on immigration and the economy but you can tell a lot about a man who'd rather listen to Stevie Wonder than R. Kelly. SiTV.com got its grubby hands on Obama's and John McCain's iPods...here's what we found.

Barack Obama's "U.N.I.T.Y." Playlist

Stevie Wonder "Ebony & Ivory": Once John Edwards or Kathleen Sebelius signs aboard as his vice prez, the Chicago senator can be the personification of this Wonder classic. To take it up a notch he will purposely always be pictured eating a black and white cookie.

Jay-Z "Dirt Off Your Shoulder": When his former opponent Hillary Clinton criticized his campaign, Obama brushed (literally) it off his shoulder. Then he proceeded to throw the Roc sign up.

Madonna "Like A Prayer": Obama may have heard his former reverend (Jeremiah Wright) call his name but he was quick to denounce him.

John McCain's "War What Is It Good For? Absolutely Everything!" Playlist

The Rolling Stones "Out of Time": After running for the second time for U.S. president, this could be McCain's last legitimate shot at living in the White House. If all else fails, he could easily replace the corpse, errr, we mean Keith Richards on lead guitar.

Carlos Santana "Migra": Even though McCain stresses border security he is also a staunch supporter of illegal immigrants gaining U.S. citizenship. Subsequently, farmhands nationwide sport "Juan Is The One" pins.

Toby Keith "Courtesy Of The Red, White And Blue (The Angry American)": This song was made for ol' war vet John. Not only does Keith threaten evildoers by putting his boot in their bums but he also urges America's youth to enlist in the military. What a patriot?!

*Disclaimer: The preceding playlists are as real as George W. Bush running for a third term.*
