I still can’t believe Michael Jackson, a childhood hero to millions, is no longer here. The entire world of music lovers are walking around with heavy hearts today. Jackson was the biggest star of my generation…our Frank Sinatra, our Elvis, our Beatles. Now he’s gone. His life is remembered in Latin America by presidents (Hugo Chavez) and also regular citizens.

"I feel sad, as if a part of my life were torn away," Esteban Rubio, a 30-year-old Jackson impersonator in Mexico told the AP. "He changed the world. ... His legend begins today."

This blog is dedicated to one of the greatest entertainers of all time: Michael Joseph Jackson (August 29, 1958—June 25, 2009). Despite the molestation allegations and his peculiar lifestyle, there's no denying Michael Jackson is one of the most influential pop culture figures to ever walk this planet.

According to the AP, Michael Jackson, 50, passed away at 1:07PM (PT). His cause of death is still unclear. Regardless of your opinion of the pop singer, you can’t deny his influence on every aspect of pop music. Another icon dies yet his music will live forever. Share your thoughts in the comments section. Long live the King of Pop.

Uno,

Jesus
