The BK MC is rapping in Spanish now? Yes! At least for 1:42 minutes on his new album The Ecstatic on a track named “No Hay Nada Mas.” It’s a mellow track with Mos Def rhyming efficiently in Español. I actually heard about via Talib Kweli's Twitter account where he tweeted, “RealTalibKweli My new favorite song- Mos Def No Hay Nada Mas http://bit.ly/YObPy.” Mos does a better job than most (ha!) with his Spanish lyrics. As I was opening the press CD for Cam’ron’s latest, Crime Pays, I couldn’t help but think about Willie Colon’s Crime Pays. Yes, that’s right Willie and Hector Lavoe released Crime Pays in 1973, before Killa Cam was created in Harlem. I couldn’t resist so I had to do a comparison. Check it out!
