We’re less than a month away from premiering Sí TV’s big hit Model Latina Miami. So we’re out and about creating buzz on the new season.

Model Latina Miami is sizzling! If you haven’t seen the top 15 ladies yet, take a gander here. Yes, they’re beautiful but they also have good, ahem, melons atop their shoulders. For example, look at Zuleyka—the half boricua, half brasilera bombshell.

Just in time for the Memorial Day weekend hip-hop’s favorite Cuban MC, Pitbull, is ready to serve your iPod or ride with free music. With a title like that it sounds like Pit, who’s never been your typical rapper, is completely tired of this shady ass music biz. He’s been an artist who’s been in situations where his marketing failed to showcase his true talents.

N.O.R.E. is one of rap’s most hilarious characters. A few years ago he was also one of reggaeton’s staunch supporters and artists. Critics said the Queens, NY-bred MC was jumping on the bandwagon. Yet, I wasn’t one of them. I reviewed Nore’s reggaeton album, N.O.R.E. y la Familia...Ya Tú Sabe, for Vibe magazine and gave it a 3.5 out of 5. It was a good album not just for a rapper-turned-reggaetonero but for any reggaetonero. I also witnessed Nore’s passion for Latin music and Latinos firsthand.

If I had a nickel for every time I saw a Model Latina in a music video, well, I’d have a dollar or so. But seriously these ladies are getting almost as much air time as former Sí TV host Mario Lopez (without flashing their cheeks…gag). Check out the music video for Los Buitres de Sinaloa’s “No Tengas Miedo” featuring the beautiful and intelligent Linda Moreno. The clip is a couple of months old but who cares?

I got a chance to chop it up with reggaeton duo Alexis y Fido (“5 Letras” was poppin’) this past week. I also got a chance to try out my new HD Flip cam (I’m a rookie filmmaker so be kind). A few weeks ago one of the questions in the comments section asked “what’s up with Down?” Down aka Kilo is the Mexican rapper who had a hit with “Lean like a Cholo.” Well, unfortunately, I did find some info on the homie but it’s not good. This past weekend he sustained injuries in a freak car accident. Down is presently in a Farmington, New Mexico hospital. Sí TV’s thoughts and prayers are with the big homie.

So what you wanna say about Pitbull, the kid stays in the picture. His latest video "I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)," where he rhymes over the “75, Brazil Street” track by Nicola Fasano vs. Pat-Rich. The hook is ehhh but the rest of the track is classic Pit—playful and club-friendly.  Check it below.

My email box has been nice to me recently. First up, it gave me an unreleased video by Mr. 305 aka Pitbull featuring Casely for “Defend Dade.” The track is off DJ Khaled’s We Global but for some reason never saw the light of day. It has cameos from Rick Ross, Fat Joe, Flo-Rida and some Haitians.
