Okay, so Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa has a new girlfriend—Lu Parker, former Miss USA and current KTLA News Anchor and now everyone is in a frenzy. Some say it’s conflict of interest because she works for the news and some say it’s wrong because he hasn’t actually divorced his wife (they separated after she found he was cheating on her with another LA news reporter).

If you didn’t know it, I spent the last five years living in New York City and decided to move to sunny Los Angeles about 4 months ago. There were many reasons why I left—most of my family lives in the west, I hate the cold, and I missed seeing Mexicans. But most importantly, I wanted to have an easier life.
