While holding a cup of coffee this morning, I thought just how bad it would suck to spill it on my white shirt. Not only would I look horrible for my meeting, but the coffee would burn and leave me smelling like it for the rest of the day (or until I had a chance to actually change).

But then it got me thinking, what if I were on a coffee date and actually spilled on the guy instead? THAT would suck. I’ve got to remember to order only cold, clear drinks when I’m with guys.

Watching the Puerto Rican Day parade on television yesterday made me smile. It’s fun to watch everyone dance around with pride for their culture and represent it in a very distinct way.

So I started thinking what makes me proud to be Latina? What makes me proud to be a woman? And then Former Miss Universe and Puerto Rican, Denise Quinones (she was giving commentary on the parade), made a comment that made me think…food.

Sooo..I just got finished reading an article about what can be offensive in other countries. Go figure the only one that talked about what's offensive in a Latino culture was about drinking :) Apparently in some countries it's offensive to pour yourself a drink without offering anyone else at the table one....Which made me think so what is offensive in our culture?

You tell me...Thanks. :) Hope I haven't offended anyone ;)
