Downtown L.A. Fashion Week

Model Latina alumns Linda Moreno, Mishell Livio, Melissa Gutierrez, and winner Codie Cabral got the opportunity of a lifetime—modeling for respected designers at Downtown L.A. Fashion Week. The lovely ladies helped spring next year's fashions on to the scene by live modeling for Eduardo Lucero, Julia y Renata, Elizabeth Mason and Violeta Villacorta. They all looked amazing and very fashion forward.

One word to describe day 2 of Downtown L.A. Fashion Week: Deep. Our models were dressed in an all black, recession-inspired collection designed by Eduardo Lucero for an audience that included L.A. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and Tatyana Ali.

An unusually strong downpour swept into L.A. just in time for Downtown L.A. Fashion Week at the Geffen Contemporary at MOCA yesterday. Emerging designers Phong Hong, Fernanda Carneiro and design duo Jacquetta O'Dell and Leslie Henry (Krys-N-Jack) kicked off the night with tight, detail-oriented Spring 2010 collections.
