You gotta love Belkys. She has model looks but the adventurous heart of an extreme martial artist. In the clip below, Belkys attempts rock climbing for the first time. Even though she’s shrieking throughout it, she’s a champ and takes her bumps with a smile. She gets soaked (easy, fellas) by the Costa Rican waterfall and keeps on climbing. What a girl! With a little encouragement from Pablo, she gets through it.

Funniest Part: Belkys slips on rocks and laughs it off.

Today’s RBI features the two sports most closely associated with Latinos: beisbol and futbol. Not intentional, just the way things worked out…although we did kind of need a break from basketball (that being said, look for a Carmelo Anthony blog tomorrow).

Mexico: Santa Claus (pronounced Santa Clos) is the merriest Mexican in el D.F. In Mexico Lindo, though, Santa takes a back seat to the Three Wise Men and Jesus (the shock, we know). For the most part most mejicanos practice La Novena, a nine-day religious observation leading up to Christmas Eve. Once dinner is served piñatas, tamales and drunken relatives run amuck . . . it’s tradition.
