Breakup

I wrote about my friend Beth back in January. Not the same girl I wrote about yesterday. The one living with her boyfriend Carlos who she loved, but wasn’t IN love with like her ex-beau Mark.

Well, just a little update on the girl:

She and Carlos continued to date and live their mundane, passion-less life until Carlos finally decided to pop the big question. Then Beth realized she was making a huge mistake. There was no way she wanted to spend the rest of her life with someone that doesn’t make her heart skip a beat.

Well there’s always two sides to everything…and if you read my post on Monday, it would seem as if I’m taking my ex-boyfriend back. But not so fast, I just might not.
And there are plenty of reasons for it:

It’s Broken: Everyone says it—you broke up for a reason…and for the most part they are right. Whatever caused the first, 2nd, 3rd breakup probably hasn’t changed now. So are you really going to get yourself back in the same situation? I don’t think so.

Stop it. I know you’re freaking out because he hasn’t called or texted you in the last hour or so. It’s OK. You can trust him. And even if you can’t trust him, there’s nothing you can do to stop him from cheating on you. So chill out.
