    when bad design happens

    Author: Eye on You
    09.14.2007

Would you be surprised if I tell you that not everything at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in NYC is great? Of course not! I wil not only tell you that some collections were simply NOT suppposed to be allowed on the runway but I will show you some examples. Even the models look a bit confused with the "jogger wonder woman, sock tied around my head" look.

Lacoste, Herrera & Baby Phat: what the f@%! were you thinking?  Call me crazy but, come on! It is true that high end fashion designers with a name have a free-for-all liscence but sometimes, once in a while, some things, just don't make any sense.
What do you think? I say NO.

    Forbes Loves Salma’s Curves

    Author: Dream Shatterer
    07.18.2007

Last week Forbes released a list of Hollywood’s Sexiest Women aka women who make white collar old galletas go ape-shit. Using a Cali-based polling firm E-Poll Market Research it appears that Forbes men like their women brown and curvy. Usually I would say they have no business doing such a list; they’re not King. But when they picked Salma Hayek as their number one, well tis all good.

Jessica Alba was tied for number two with Carmen Electra (huh, is she still alive), Shakira at number four, Eva Longoria is tied at number five with Beyoncè and Halle Berry, Raquel Welch (gmilf people) tied at number nine. And my favorite after Salma: tied at number 12 is Jenny Lo and Alyssa Milano. If only they could change heads. Perfect woman.

    LOS ANGELES! TONIGHT! BRASILINTIME!

    Author: AnthonyValadez
    07.17.2007

You know B+.  You have seen his photography in just about every magazine, album cover, gallery around town.  From Eminem to Lauryn Hill, Saul Williams to Damien Marley, B is there with his camera..

    Susan Baca

About 3 years ago I had the great pleasure of interviewing Brian Cross (or better known as B+about his latest film at the time "Keepin Time".  The film was able to gather some of Los Angeles's finest turntabilist alongside some of funk's legendary drummers (Paul Humphrey, and James Gadson).  What started out as a photo session turned into a full fledged live performance which started on set, and ended up being repeated on a grander level at the El Rey.

    L Boogie

I'm sitting in B's living room in the outskirts of Echoe Park and homeboy is telling me how he is going to take it to Brazil! And in my head Im thinking about "City of God" and what if B ends up in the flavela.  Nope! The results are beautiful from what little Ive seen from the teasers.  B+ was able to fly out Madlib, Babu, J Rocc, Derf Reklaw and others to Brazil to rock out with the legendary percussion players such as Joao "Comanche" Parahyba, Ivan "Mamao" Conti, and Dj Nuts.

    Saul Williams

B+'s little baby has turned into a festive week in Los Angeles with its premiere tonight @ the Egyptian, followed by parties at Turntable Lab and at the Mayan which will include a live performance with the funk drummers and Brazilian percussion/dj line up!

    Noelia Gets Maximized

    Author: Dream Shatterer
    07.15.2007

For those of you who didn’t peep the Noelia sex tape here are some pics for her scantily clad Maxim En Español cover. Homegirl is a hidden gem. Most of y’all don’t know much about her but she actually does have some pipes on her. Hopefully she’ll move beyond the infamous tape and make some dope music. Butt in the meantime . . .
