    !ACRYLICK CLOTHING COMPANY!

    It's simple:

    "THE MESSAGE IS THE CONCEPT"

ACRYLICK is a LA based clothing company making fashion with a positive message, putting meanings behind every shirt/work/design. ACRYLICK believes that things should be universal and never conform to any sort. Each individual embodies their own originative spirit and should share it with others. ACRYLICK's goal is for their clothing to be worn by everyone no matter what race, creed, gender, or status they are. They continue to make noise by manufacturing quality street wear and letting their presence be known. Be sure to look out for ACRYLICK's booth at this year's ROCK THE BELLS FESTIVAL where their new summer line will be out on display. Don't forget some cash to buy your ass a shirt or two!

    PANTHALAND 07

I was honored to be in attendance to this uniquely vibrant event that surrounded me with all forms of the artistic realm. Downtown Los Angeles was the backdrop for this one night experience of display provided by artists from around the globe. Each room at Crash Mansion radiated its own vibe with artwork to match the room’s ambiance. Carefully selected artwork was strategically placed by color, mood, and feeling to capture the audience’s attention and motivate their soul to buy. Sounds of rhythms from across the globe poured out through the speakers by the sound selectas for the night JEREMY SOLE & EGYPTIAN LOVER.

     THE BUM

I had the pleasure to meet many of the great artists from the night as they shared their personal perspective on their art over a few drinks. Blue wristband = open bar!!

    MASSIMILIANO

      PING PING

    DINO

The outdoor scene of this old warehouse felt like its own lounge with downtown skyscrapers hovering overhead to the sounds of Manu Chao. Lounge couches and tables were available with live entertainment provided by local graffiti writers as they freestyle’d their art onto the wall. This drew a crowd and was a definite highlight of the evening for many as they posed in front of the artwork for shots.

A live performance from the ladies of Hip Hop was a personal experience for me, as I remembered listening to their music growing up. I have to give props to the opening act MIC HEMPSTEAD who set the stage off right and warmed the crowd for BAHAMDIA & LADY BUG MECCA. I couldn’t begin to explain the feeling in the crowd once LADY BUG started to recite the first few words of her verse to Digable Planet’s anthem Rebirth of Slick Cool Like That! “We be the chocolates taps on my raps….”

    BAHAMADIA

     LADY BUG MECCA

I have to commend Panther & Jeremy Martin for their passion of street culture & vision they possess to introduce the world to something beautiful in life. Art touches everyone in its own special way as you find the artist speaking directly to your soul. Keep your eye out for any future events put on by this dynamic duo and be sure to mark your calendar for the INTER STELLAR EXPO this fall! I know I’ll be there…

Big thanks to Panthaland for allowing SiTV to take part of this event!!
