RUM BOOGIE IN LAS VEGAS…..                                                                                 THATS RIGHT. WE HAVE A FEW SHOWS COMING UP IN LAS VEGAS FOR ABOUT A WEEK. WE ARE VERY EXCITED ABOUT THESE UPCOMING SHOWS. ALL THANKS TO BLACK PARTY POLITIC.           A ALTERNATIVE/ROCK/SOUL BAND FROM LOS ANGELES WHO ARE PLAYING AT THE PRE-VMA'S EVENT IN LAS VEGAS.  WE SHARED THE STAGE JUNE 10TH AT  ZEN SUSHI AND THEY LOVED OUR SOUND.  SO  THEY DECIDED TO GIVE A CALL AND  ASK US IF WE WANTED TO PLAY A FEW SHOW WITH THEM IN SIN CITY.. WHAT DO YOU THINK WE SAID….. AHHH MAYBE WE'LL THINK ABOUT IT! YEAH! RIGHT! WE SAID FCK YEAH!!

SO RUM BOOGIE IS GOING TO VEGAS BABY!!!

ANYONE IS MORE THAN WELCOME TO COME AND PARTY WITH US. AND I THINK SiTV IS GOING TO HOOK US UP WITH A CAMERA. SO EXPECT A RUM BOOGIE VIDEO IN LAS VEGAS…

JUNE 20TH WAS ONE OF THE MOST EXCITING NIGHTS I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCE. WE SHARED THE STAGE WITH SOME GREAT BANDS IN L.A.  UPGROUND, ORGULLO CAFE, GLORY, AND I GOT TO SEE OZOMATLI PERFORM WITH GLORY.

CONGRATULATION GLORY FOR THE PEOPLE FOR WINNING 10K.

WE WERE TREATED LIKE ROCK STARS WITH ALL THE INTERVIEWS FOR SITV AND AOL LATINO. THANK YOU SiTV FOR THE CHANCE TO PLAY ON THE JAMMIN CONTEST AND FOR ALL THE NATIONAL EXPOSURE.  WE ARE GREATFUL. WE DIDNT WIN BUT WE WERE WINNERS IN OUR FANS HEART. OBVIOUSLY THE JUDGES AGREE. THE ONLY THING THAT SUCKED ABOUT THAT NIGHT WAS THAT OUR TROMBONE PLAYER HAD TO GO OUT OF TOWN.

YOU WERE MISSED JAVIER LUNA. BUT WE HAD SAMMIE COVERING JAVI… IT WAS GREAT. SAMMIE IS A GREAT TROMBONE PLAYER OLD FREIND OF THE BAND. IT WAS NICE PLAYING A LONG WITH HIM.

well june 20th has came and went… and Glory For the People

were selected as the winners of the night. and for good reason. they are a very strong band. with real cool members who i had a chance to speak to and get to know and of course they make great music. my only regret is that i didn't get to see them perform on stage. so congrats to glory on behalf of Rum Boogie!  and a big shot out goes to the guy's from Orgullo Cafe who were hella cool fun loving guys from east la!

The day of the competion was amazing. sitv put it down!!! lol it has been the best expeierence The Rum Boogie Boyz have had as a band. and all i wanna say is that we went on that stage and gave it all we got! and even got the winning score. from the judges… but unlucky for us as a new band… we dont' have that big of an established fan base… yet!

and after all is said and done rum boogie has been doing this for a little over 10 months… glory and orgullo have been doing this for half a decade! so i think our future looks really bright… and were really excited for the opportunities that are gonna present themselves this coming year. 

so be on the look out Rum Boogie!

WE'RE TIRED OF BACK TO BACK SHOWS BUT IM LOVING IT. I NEED A BEER TO SAY "UN BRINDIS AMIGOS" TO ALL THE PEOPLE WHO ARE SUPPORTING THE BAND AND ARE BUMBED OUT THEY WONT BE ABLE TO ATTEND THE EVENT. WEL WILL MAKE IT UP TO YOU.
