In this business of fashion and beauty you will meet many that say they are freelancers in hairstyling, wardobe styling and makeup! How can you tell who's the real deal?

Well im here writing this blog as a way to vent out my vexed situation.

A while back my sister and i The Real Deal Glam Squad! were looking for a hairstylist to work with for a test shoot, which was going to be a probable client. A beautiful Greek/mexican new signed artist with a record label. We couldnt use our usual hairstylist since she was book so we resorted to test these girl again we met at a hair salon in queens that said she Had Experience in freelancing…..we had already worked with her in a video shoot which we hooked her up with. She did an ok job with hair but the problem was that we knew right away she had no experience she was too busy talking off set and not focused on the set like many professionals.

Anyways so we bring her back, besides she was funny! OH she is greek kinda of like my big fat greek wedding yet but anyways, So was the talent(greek/mexican) so of course who could shut her up now!

To make a long story short she broke work ethics she turns out to be a MAC artist " so she says" and hairstylist and takes our client away for cheaply price unexperienced work!

So if this doesn't make sense never mind, The morale of the story is beware of who you give work to or network with because this industry is full of bullshitters that lie their way to the top.
