T.I is back with his fifth album T.I  VS T.I.P. Its a spin off from a song off the Trap muzik album "T.I vs T.I.P" Basically we find T.I battling with his 2 sides T.I who is the buisness man/actor more cool calm and collective of the two and T.I.P who is still street,gutter and very much a hothead.

Track 1 highlights all the positives and negatives so far in his career. After the brief intro T.I.P starts rapping basically demonstrating his hot-headed-ness, his temper and lack of respect.

Tracks 2,3,4,5,6,7 are all T.I.P.

Track 2 "Big sh** poppin" is the 1st single produced by mannie fresh. Very Commercial friendly, deep bass which is definitly poppin for the club as well. At the end of the song T.i.P says "I regret to inform all the T.I fans he is no longer in power,we taking it back to I'm serious" he then later says "may the best man win patna" which stays consistent with the title of the album.

Track 3 "Raw" Prod by Lil C. T.i.P on this song basically repeating what hes been trying to say all along,that he is the king of the south.

Track 4 You know what it is ft Wyclef Jean also Produced By Wyclef. One of my Favorite songs on the album. Dope production, good song,very reminiscent of "What you know" 

Track 5 Dope man Prod by Mannie Fresh. T.i.P and Mannie hook up again for dopeman. Dont let the slow start to the song fool you. When the bridge is over and Mannie Fresh Brings in the Powerful horns the song really picks up. Hook is very catchy, Im serious fans will definitly be happy with this song. I can see a possible remix with young jeezy. 

Track 6 Watch what u say to me Ft Jay-Z prod by Khao. Another Personal favorite. The song has a 70's feel to it!!!!! T.I.P and Jay-Z both demonstraing their swag. Jay kills his verse,i Think rappin with T.I.P broguht out the old Jay.  

Track 7 Hurt ft AlphaMega & Busta Rhymes prod by Danja. I hate to be repetitve but another personal fav. The production is amazing. Very anthem like. When i read that busta rhymes was on the song and then i heard the beat. It was Perfect. Good call by T.i.P to include him on this song. The hook is dope also. very catchy,Gets you hype and riled up.

Track 8 Act II (t.i) On this track we get reaquainted with T.I. Its basically the aftermath of act 1. Where T.i has no idea all the damage is alter ego t.i.p has caused

Track 9 Help is coming Prod by just blaze. T.I's 1st song on the album. We find out T.I is somewhat of a super hero. Here to save hiphop. The Production is flawless. Just blaze did it again. a mix of organs and powerful synths mixed with T.i's twang make this song a definite stand out on the album.

Track 10 My swag Prod by Wyclef. T.I hooks back up with wyclef on this joint. T.i basically demonstrating his swag. Rides the beat perfectly. talking about being allover the world papparazzi and poppin bottles with celebrities

Track 11 We do this prod by the Runners. I was kind of dissappointed with this song,given the resume of the runners. I expected a whole diffrent song diffrent direction. Its a good filler song for the album.

Track 12 Show it to me ft Nelly prod by Blackmob.  This song is definitly for the grown and sexxy. Definitly a more mellow side of T.i. This song is more for the ladies. T.i lady fans as well as nelly fans will love this song. But im serious fans might be a bit dissappointed.

Track 13 Dont you wanna be High prod by The Runners. Very smooth track. Another song for the grown and sexy. T.i Showing how he can spoil the ladies.

Track 14 Touch Down ft Eminem Prod By Eminem. When I saw that Em made the album,i was very interested in hearing what the song would sound like??? The beat is dope. Horns with Em's Signature drums snappin and poppin allover the track. However the song wasnt quite what i exprected. The hook is kind of dry,it grows on you after a while though. Marshall rides the beat well on his verse but theres really no substance behind it. Lots of Jibber Jabber.

Track 15 Act III The confrontation. The two Personalites collide. its funny  and interesting to hear T.I and T.I.P argue. I think T.I does a great job showing off the diffrent personalities.

Track 16 Tell em i said that prod by Danja. T.i questioning certain peoples images,pulling cards etc…..Another good filler song for the album. The production is dope,it changes up in and out through out the song.

Track 17 Respect My Hustle prod by Danja. Very dope song. On this song for the 1st time we find T.I and T.I.P rapping on the same track. The production is dope. The concept Behind the song is great. I like the way the two personalities argue all through out the song and at the end of the song. Very entertaining.

Track 18 My Type prod by Lil C. We see a deeper side of T.i on this track. Talking about death and talking to his kids etc….highlighing certain events in his life. Good way to end the album. By saying Goodbye to the badguy!!!! But who are we saying goodbye to T.I or T.I.P??? I guess we wont know till next album…………………

 All in all i think the album is dope. Real dope. I think T.i.P gets the better of T.i on the album. I personally prefer a mixture of the two. I really enjoyed the story line behind the album and the way he shows off both personalites. It keeps you wanting to listen more and figure out whats gonna happen. The thing i enjoy most about t.I and the album is his southern twang and slang,It really shines when youre listening to both egos arguing. The album is definitley worth picking up. So make sure you pick it up july 3rd!!!

     SO as you all know the Bet awards were in town and there were alot of shin digs,events etc going on. I got invited to a Pre party on saturday the 23rd.

     Amongst the people that were supposed to be there The event was hosted by Julio g and they had my boy Dj Eddie One from 96.3 on the 1's and 2's. The "Big Rumor" circulating the event was that the big dogg himself "Snoop" was rumored to be coming out to this event.

     So im chillin having a good time, checkin out the ladies,having some drinks. Life is goood right???? All of a sudden i start to see security run to the front. Pretty typical in a club, fights break out every now and then. No big deal right????

     I get a phone call from 1 of my boys saying he left the event. He tells me it be a good idea if i did the same??? I'm thinking to myself, "im in Hollywood, whats the worst that can happen" I look around and the waters are pretty calm,if u will. So i decide to ride out this storm for a lil bit,see where the tides takes us.(pardon all the water references its 100 degrees out here in cally and i think i need to go to the beach….lol)

     All of a sudden i see just lots of people coming into the venue. And more people and more people. Its starts to get kind of rowdy. People taking shirts off,trying to start fights etc…. At this point i decide it might be time to shake the spot(shake the spot- to leave the area) So im ath the bar bout to leave, when all of a sudden they turn on the lights and all the security guards start blocking off the bar. Its 1am. last call isnt for another hour. So i ask the bartender,whats going on??? She tells me people were arguing about the prices of liquor. If a shot of patron was 8 dollars,they would complain and say ill give you 4 dollars???( i know this aint the swapmeet right) So the owner was getting alot of complaints and decided to close it down!!!!

     So i try and leave the spot and the security guards have the front on lockdown. They direct me to a diffrent exit. I get to the exit I go to the front and i see all these dudes trying to get in and the doors are completly closed!!!!!!! So im thinking what the hell is going out right. Am i in the freaking twilight zone or something???

     Turns out there were a few local acts scheduled to perform.  They invited everyone they know,as they should right. But i guess diffrent hoods,diffrents sets in the same building with alcohol involved. not a good mix!!!! On top of all that they started rushing the front door with out trying to pay or get searched etc….. '

     So that was my crazy night, No performances,no snoop dogg lots of drama. Luckily for me i got out before things got worse or even more out of hand!!!!! Hollywood was literally Holly-hood for the evening….lol "to live n die in l.a" ITS THE PLACE TO BE BABY!!!!! Brewsky out!!!!!!

 G-Unit’ member Young Buck made a special appearance at 107.9FM’s 12th annual Birthday Bash in Atlanta and dropped a "BOMB" on his G-unit family.

 Rumor has it Buck took the stage after The Game’s performance in front of over 20,000 people and went into a short set of music that concluded with him saying, “F*** G-Unit… Cashville Records is the New Unit…

NOW this is crazy!!!!! i dunno whats going on with the unit now. lately record sales have not been up to par. 50 cent pushes his cd back,and rumor has it it might not even come out.

i heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeard, that Buck is upset with the latest business move that 50 Cent has made with his Glaceau Vitamin Water deal, that 50 has reportedly earned $400 million dollars in profits from. ( u can read more about this in my previous blog 3 richest men in hip hop) While on stage Young Buck speculated that no one in G-Unit was given any type of cut from the huge deal and used the large venue to express the way he felt about how bidness is being ran with the G-Unit camp.

If bucks upset he didnt get a cut,thats nuts??? 50 got him a mansion in tennesee and a bentley(quote from buck on money in the bank remix "i got a bentley that 1 only drove 1 time,50 bought for me shawty but its still mine") and most importantly a record deal. which has lead to success….This is one thing ive always hated….when u do so many favors for people they start to "expect" things. Its no longer a favor,its a priority. thats one of my biggest peev's!!!!! let that man make money,he made you rich. but he has to worry about numero uno 1st.

 Now its funny to me that game was there,and performed before buck.  i wonder if he had anything to do with this development???? What im waiting on now is to see if Buck and Game will come out with a g-unit diss track or maybe even a mixxtape???? Game and Buck did seem to get along the best when game 1st signed to g-unit. so who knows???? only time will tell!!!!!! what do you guys think???? Hate it or love it!!! haha BREWSKY,OUT!!!!
