ThreadBanger podcast is a do-it-yourself fashion with a rock en espanol feel to it.  The host Rob and Corrine are quite hilarious and down to earth.  They show you how to do some of the projects using simple things that you probably already own in your closet.  As their motto goes: The first network for people who make their own fashion.

The dynamic duo Badgley Mischka did it again. Their New York ready-to-wear spring 2008 collection looks fabulous!  Clean lines, hints of art deco and casual wear shown in their collection.

 I was watching the video of Carolina Herrera's New York spring 2008 collection, and I got to say I feel lukewarm on the overall collection.  I have seen her other collections in the past that has wowed me before…

This collection feels like a spring [flowers] bouquet.  One thing I do love about her collection is the luxurious fabric she uses.  There are some pieces that I would wear right of the runway.

Diane Von Furstenberg is well known for her wrap dress in the late 70’s.  For the spring/summer 2008 collection, I felt that some of the pieces in her collection remind me of safari in the sub-Sahara Africa.

   Overall I do enjoy her designs and I think her wrap dress design is a classic that many other clothing designers copy. Here are my favorites that I would like to wear from this collection.

  Joking about arresting people for their fashion choices was just among the fashionistas and style mavens.  And now some lawmakers are actually implementing that law.  The saggy pants are now been targeted and are actually might end up in jail or fine.
