I promised I was not going to go into the Britney/Lohan/Paris world, but I have to. Rumors are spreading regarding Britney Spears appearing at this Sunday's Primetime Emmy® Awards broadcast on FOX (8/7 CT). Guess what for? She will apologize for her unforgivable /unforgettable performance at the MTV Video Music Awards. In case you missed it, watch the video and let us know if Britney should even consider appearing on television until she cleans up her act and put herself together.

After all, it is her choice. But who cares? Well, FOX cares (really? of course, they live on that), NBC's Co-Chairman Ben Silverman does (I heard he liked Britney's performance at the VMAs) and the Academy does (if they allow this it wil be REALLY sad). Britney, I hope you don't do it and/or the network and the Academy change their mind.

P.S. CLEANING UP YOUR ACT means NO drugs, NO party, NO drinking, NO making a fool of yourself, NO showing your bald vagina to the world, and getting help. But help actually helps only when you want.

P.S. CARING means stop using others misfortunes, mistakes and crying for help to make money or get ratings. It is very low and unethical, only if you care.

Would you be surprised if I tell you that not everything at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in NYC is great? Of course not! I wil not only tell you that some collections were simply NOT suppposed to be allowed on the runway but I will show you some examples. Even the models look a bit confused with the "jogger wonder woman, sock tied around my head" look.

Lacoste, Herrera & Baby Phat: what the f@%! were you thinking?  Call me crazy but, come on! It is true that high end fashion designers with a name have a free-for-all liscence but sometimes, once in a while, some things, just don't make any sense.
What do you think? I say NO.
 

JLo closes NY Fashion Week Spring 2008 with a few thumbs up! 

JustSweet, JLo’s new fashion line introduced earlier this year, presented its Fashion Show at Eye Beam during NY Fashion Week Spring 2008 on Tuesday, September 11. The “JLO by Jennifer Lopez” brand launched in 2001 but was phased out with JustSweet.

JLo staged the surprise JustSweet show, as she took to the catwalk herself at Eyebeam studios after her models wearing a trendy lime green mini-dress from her new fashion line.

She called JustSweet "a fantasy - classic inspiration but with a new, kind of funky spin. Girls who are young are going to wear it… to feel sophisticated, because it does have a chic kind of feeling to it, but people who are older who wear it are going to feel young, flirty and fun. It really has a nice mix." We agree and we like JustSweet being just oneword.

If you are going to get an environmentally friendly shirt it should be this one. You'll make a powerful statement on a 100% bamboo t-shirt. I've seen a few in LA, they are very cool!

I'll be short and sweet: THIS PLACE IS HOT.  After many attempts at different Cuban restaurants I have to declare La Bodeguita de Pico the best Cuban Restaurant in Los Angeles.

Great service. Amazing food. Live muisc. Full bar.
Start with their Mojito topped with Champagne and Tostones Rellenos (fried green plantains baskets filled with shrimp or meat) as an appetizer. Now you are on your way to heaven! If their extensive menu confuses you; go for the "Clasico Plato Cubano". This dish comes with white rice and black beans, roast pork and ground beef in a habanera sauce with yuca with Cuban sauce and sweet yellow plantains. Feel free to try any of their other dishes, everything is excelent.

Added to the great taste and quality of their food, the service is incredible. This unpretentious, comfortable and affordable restaurant is so authentic you won't feel like you are in Los Angeles anymore! No wonder celebrities are arriving every now and then at this new eatery! They have a beautiful bar where you can chill over drinks after work or have a nightcap after dinner. The venue also has a separate room for private events.

SO if you live in LA or happen to be in town for a good time,
La Bodeguita de Pico should be a must on your LA's Top 10 List.
