Back In Town…s.pancho
Author: orgullocafeI’ve been gone for about 10 days. Up in Oregon and Washington doing some stuff for this company that I work for now. I stayed at a hotel and almost every night I went swimming in the pool they have (they kept it warm at night ). It felt really good getting away from the city. I got to miss my family and friends. I haven’t felt that way in a while because I’m always around them or they are around me. Anyhow the city of Portland and the cities along the Columbian river are very nice. When I would float in the pool just looking up at the stars (you can actually see them over there) I did alot of reflecting on my life and music in the water. The people I got to meet and see up north are really down to earth. It was different than being in L.A. It’s like there was no egos or cool front that needed to be put up in order to converse. I think it’s cause I chilled in the “paisa” part of town. I learned alot about how the people that go up there from Mexico to work migrate all over the NorthWest depending on what crops are harvesting and what fields need to work. One of the things that I liked was that at all the Gas stations it’s full service for all.
But now I’m back in town and right now I still feel alittle dazed from the drive back down here. YUP! 14 hours!! but thanks to energy drinks and sunflower seeds, along with a cool co-pilot I made it back to L.A. I can’t wait to go to the studio and pick up my guitar and work on some music. I got Ideas and inspiration while I was up there and I’ve been wanting to put’em together in the studio. I hope the felas didn’t make a mess while I was gone. And I say that because I always clean the studio when I leave because I don’t like walking into a dirty room to work on music. But that’s another blog that I will write later on. For now it feels good to be back in town. READY,WILLING,and DOWN!

Author: STEVE IN DA MIX-
A nation in distress united by the beautiful game called soccer. IRAQ is the new champion of the Asian cup and its nice to know that the IRAQI people can smile for something. I found it very interesting that after winning the championship game the head coach resigned, some players chose not to return to Iraq and others took advantage of the moment to share to the world how they feel about the war. After the game, Mahmoud the team captain called for the United States to withdraw its troops from his nation. "I want America to go out," he said. "Today, tomorrow, or the day after tomorrow, but out. I wish the American people didn't invade Iraq and, hopefully, it will be over soon." Mahmoud also said he will not return to Iraq to celebrate. "I don't want the Iraqi people to be angry with me," he said. "If I go back with the team, anybody could kill me or try to hurt me." Vieira the head coach who is Brazilian, resigned after the game. "I have worked my best to give happiness to the Iraqi people, to bring a warm smile to their lips and my mission is accomplished," Vieira said. "The satisfaction is doubled when you can get this cup and you bring happiness for a country, not just a team. It's more important than anything."

Author: MiLoThe 22nd Imagen Awards took place this past Saturday and celebrated today's hottest Latino talent in style. Ugly Betty (which is on FIRE with 11 Emmy nominations) stole the show, with awards going to stars America Ferrera and Ana Ortiz (plus a Creative Achievement statue). Other nods for Latino excellence went to the films Pan's Labyrinth and Apocalypto and a special Children's recognition to Dora the Explorer. Click here to see who was turning heads on the red carpet.
Tags: -Is Lindsay Lohan still an actress?
Author: MiLoFunny with all the drama going on with Lindsay Lohan this week, it seems no one even realized that she was actually starring in a movie that was released on Friday. And I mean NO ONE, "I Know Who Killed Me" tanked big time, coming in 9th place at the weekend box office. I guess this definitely proves that NOT all publicity is good publicity. She had originally been scheduled to appear on talk shows to promote it, but with all this drama her press tour (and movie) are now long forgotten. It will be interesting to see if she can salvage a once promising film career. Time will tell…
