Pau Got Soul!

I smell victory, and I am so amped that the Lakers are taking home the big trophy! National Champions! What wouldn't I do to be in LA for the parade! They were rioting, ahem, celebrating as soon as the final clock stopped. Sans the violence, I wish that I could join in for some good-spirited fun. Hands Down, this was the best playoff season since MJ and the Bulls took down the Jazz in '98! And I'm almost sad that it's over. My Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sunday are wide-open! But hey, on to draft season!

Omar, I told you back in March that they were going to take it all the way & sure they did. Orlando put up a dogged fight 'til the end, but couldn't battle the beast known as Kobe, Drew Bynum, Gasol, Lamar, Derek, and Ariza. The Lakers killed it with their line up! Vicious! Hats off Dwight, Pietrus, Turkoglu, & Lewis for making tough on Big Baby. By the way, I just found out that Kobe and I share the same birthday! How about that!

Man OH Man! Shouts out to Mitch Kupchak, GM of the Lakers. He's a proud alum of UNC (my alma mater) and an awesome mentor! Go Heels! And let me not forget!  Double shots out to the man with the most soul! Pau Gasol, my brother from another and a fellow latino, by way of Spain! You really stepped up your game this season and made all the difference with every shot and block! Ummm... I'm thinking ab starting up a fan club for that guy! Gosh he's great!
