New Star Wars movie in the form of a video game?

After George Lucas finished making Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith he said he was done with stories about the Skywalker Family. That would include Luke, Leia, Vader and their other family members. But apparently Lucas wasn't counting out video games.

In a long three-page article in Vanity Fair, the backstory of the upcoming video game, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is revealed. Although the game was introduced last year through a teaser trailer, the game is near complete and will be hitting store shelves this summer.

The story takes place after Episode III and before the original Star Wars movie, Episode IV: A New Hope. It focuses on Vader's rise to power and his mentorship to a new young, powerful apprentice who is trained to hunt down the last of the remaining Jedi. And yes, you get to play as both Vader and the "secret" apprentice. Although Lucas isn't saying much else about the plot of the story, according to the Vanity Fair article "The character of Darth Vader is fleshed out further, and, in a plot twist almost as good as the 'I am your father' moment from Star Wars: Episode V—The Empire Strikes Back, the game also contains surprising information about the birth of the Rebel Alliance."

The Star Wars Universe is huge... I don't think it will ever go away. Which is fine by me!!

Looks pretty cool. It amazes how much money they can squeeze from that one franchise. Will they ever stop pumping out Star Wars merchandise?
