Batman vs. Sub-Zero? Superman vs. Liu Kang? Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe...

In the tradition of the classic video game Capcom vs. Marvel, the folks behind the Mortal Kombat franchise have united with DC Comics for the new game Mortal Kombat vs, DC Universe, dropping on consoles this fall.

There is one caveat, however, and that's in regards to fatalities. No, you won't be able to rip out Batman's spine and Superman won't be chopping off Scorpion's head, just because the developers are trying to make it "T" for teen instead "M" for mature, so the game can have a larger audience. The move is similar to a movie studio toning down the violence to get a PG-13 rating as opposed to an R rating so more people are able to check out the flick.
