Model Latina Beats Up Xtreme!
SiTV-Model-Latina-Miami-VZWSS-Christine.jpg

Not really, but wouldn’t that be great to see? Imagine one of Sí TV’s beautiful Model Latinas messing up Xtreme’s make-up and snuffing them the fudge out. I’d buy a ticket. The below video for “Hiliana” from the bachata metrosexuals (I think, not that there’s anything wrong with that) is a couple of years old and features Christine, from Model Latina Miami, as a woman scorned. Mos Def Raps in Spanish!
sitv_rap_mos_def.jpg

The BK MC is rapping in Spanish now? Yes! At least for 1:42 minutes on his new album The Ecstatic on a track named “No Hay Nada Mas.” It’s a mellow track with Mos Def rhyming efficiently in Español. I actually heard about via Talib Kweli's Twitter account where he tweeted, “RealTalibKweli My new favorite song- Mos Def No Hay Nada Mas http://bit.ly/YObPy.” Mos does a better job than most (ha!) with his Spanish lyrics. Peep the song below.

New York Undercover Star 'Beats' it
New_York_Undercover-.jpg

Hilarious headline I know, pero get your mind out of the gutter. I’m talking about Michael DeLorenzo from New York Undercover, one of my personal favorite shows and presently syndicated on Sí TV. Yes, this will be my last Michael Jackson-inspired post (for awhile) but in honor of MJ’s passing check out DeLorenzo in the music video for “Beat It.” I was a baby in the ‘80s so I’m a little confused about the era’s gang culture. Michael Jackson Legacy Lives On
sitv_r.i.p._michael_jackson.jpg

"I feel sad, as if a part of my life were torn away," Esteban Rubio, a 30-year-old Jackson impersonator in Mexico told the AP. "He changed the world. ... His legend begins today."

Indie Latin Music Tour, New Latin Rap Doc
sitv_latinmusic_La_Santa_Cecilia.jpg

Latin music is just as diverse as us Latinos. For example look at the artists performing at MySpace Latino & Remezcla.com’s En Tu Ciudad Tour—Very Be Careful, La Santa Cecilia (pictured above), Wait.Think.Fast., and Mucho DJs. Coño, their names alone are eclectic. Wait until you see them perform at Downtown L.A.’s La Cita Bar next week (7/1). Go here for more info.

Model Latina Plays Nice w/ Don Omar's Boys
SiTV-Model-Latina-Miami-VZWSS-Emeraude.jpg

I told y’all the ladies of Model Latina Miami mean business. Emeraude, one of the finest contestants, scored a lead role in Marcy Place’s “Dame Un Chance (Nena)” music video. Marcy Place is a bachata trio who actually don’t spend five hours trimming their eyebrows. Crazy right? Anyway, Emeraude looks ravishing in this clip and she didn’t even have to wear booty shorts!
