I met a guy this past spring and we hung out a few times.  He’s 37 which I was excited about cause he was older, but he ended up shading out. Who knows what happened.  Anyway, he just forwarded me an Evite the other day.  So random!  What do you think he wants?

Dear Figuring Out Shady,

Sending you an Evite is random. But he’s 37, and older men are a lot more nonchalant about those kinds of things.  You won’t hear from them for months and then all of a sudden BAM! - they call or email or invite you to a party. To them, it’s no big deal.  Older men are ballsier than younger men, probably cause they’re balls have been around longer.  They don’t stress much when it comes to women and rules.  Those old farts just do what they feel, even if it doesn’t make sense. Younger men, on the other hand, get scared a whole lot easier. If they shade out they run the other way when they see you (chickens!), leaving you with a shitload of unanswered questions and a trail of smoke.  So what does your old fart want?  Simple.  He sent you the Evite because he wants to see you at the party, maybe to reconnect, maybe to get you drizunk and get you into bed.  You wont know until you’re there and you’re obviously intrigued. So don’t be a chicken (AKA male youngin’) and go and see what’s up!
