Long Distance Lovin

I always wonder how couples make their long distance relationships work. We all know that it’s hard to do and most don’t actually go over smoothly, but every now and then you hear about the relationships that are going strong.

Well, one of my girls (she’s a performer and travels all the time) shared what she and her colleagues do. Turns out the most important aspect of long distance dating is, surprise, surprise…the sexual stuff. And it’s not all about just having phone sex. It’s about being creative since you’re not together to build intimacy.

Of course, most of her suggestions are only possible due to technology (gotta love it), but I assume if you’re reading my blog, you’ve got a grip on the basics.
Isn’t it amazing what you can do these days…you can basically work from anywhere in the world right? Well, why not have a healthy sexual relationship with your partner as well?

So last night I had her give me the full break down of how it works. Here you go…tips to get freaky long distance:

Pictures: You don’t have to necessarily take pictures of your full naked body, but why not send pictures of body parts? Does he like your legs? Snap a pic of them while you’re tanning on the beach. She likes your strong biceps? Flex and say cheese. And of course, you can get a little more raunchy, but I won’t go there. You get the point.

Sex Texts/Chats: Feeling a little randy? Let your lover know it. Send a text message, log onto IM chat, or get a little BBM convo started. It’s a good way to keep your partner on his/her toes throughout the day and ready to get down in the evening.

Share Porn: So this will require you to skim through porn sites and watch videos that you may or may not like (what a hard task, no pun intended…hehe). Once you find some videos that you like, send them to your partner and tell him/her why you like it. Does the way she touches him send chills down your spine? Like the way that guy throws his chick around? Share those thoughts with your lover and tell them you want to do this next time you’re together. Video Chat: Men are visual. That’s all there is to it. If they can’t touch your body, they should at least be able to see it once in a while. So if you’re daring, get on video chat and share your sexual experiences remotely. On Mac—use your I-Chat, Google has G-Chat, and of course, the infamous Skype has video chat as well. Of course, this takes a lot of trust between you and your partner…and there’s always a chance that the video could leak, but then you might become famous. ☺
