Latin Celebs Show T-Shirt Love For Mexico

If you only read the papers and watched CNN, you'd think Mexico was a border-to-border hellhole full of swine flu-infested people and flying bullets from drug wars. We know better, and so do Latin celebs, who are starting to wear these adorable t-shirts that read "Muñecas Como Estas Vacacionan en Mexico."

I smell a t-shirt trend on par with Juanes' "Se Habla Español." Let it begin! The shirts were designed by singer Alejandro Fernandez, who comes from an uber-proudly Mexican family that probably has tequila running through their veins instead of blood. I love this guy's voice, but, honestly, I never thought he'd do anything remotely this cool. Props to him. Here he is showing off the t-shirt to Lili Estefan on El Gordo y la Flaca.

And props to the socially conscious Shakira for wearing one and to Eva Longoria, for repping her Mexican heritage hard, though her family has lived in Texas for nine generations. Ajua!
