Wow. It's 2008. Can you believe it?

I watched Mar Adentro or The Sea Inside one day, and I was inspired to write a poem w/ the same title. But this poem is more about me than it is about the movie.

I went to the Within Art Show, which showcases urban art done by females, at the Crash Mansion in downtown LA. That's where I got to meet the female graffiti artist, TOOFLY.

Last Friday, I went to the Troubadour in West Hollywood to see Jens Lekman perform. He's this Swedish pop singer who has a quirky yet likable music style.

Last week I went on a shoot with our SiTV Preditor (producer/editor). We interviewed the latin hip-hop artist Sinful and his crew at Roscoe's (a Filipino hip-hop artist) studio out in Culver City.

I was at the Rainbow Bar and Grill on Sunset (Los Angeles) where I interviewed the lovely Kina Grannis after a wonderful performance.

It's Columbus Day. All I know is some people get a day off...like students, government officials. But not me. And why is that?
